OFFICIAL PLAYGROUND, 2008

The official playground is inspired by the a playground: a place where children ‘work’ while playing. The object is designed from the vision that exercise and playfulness improve the productivity and creativity at work.

The big ‘cabinet’ fulfils the function of closet, private workspace and meeting point. The closet contains several levels where items can be stored and/or presented. The inside is fenced off by these products. Taking something from the closet can lead to interesting meeting moments (inside/outside). The meeting point on top can by reach by climbing.
